First is prepared puff pastry "minute" with 6 chipmunks, their weight in flour, half its weight in butter and a pinch of salt.
In a large bowl, place flour and make a well in the middle to lay chipmunks, salt and butter cut into small pieces. It is important to work the dough with your fingertips (not the palm), when the dough is sufficiently "smooth" into a ball and let rest 20 minutes.
After turning the oven preheat (180 ° C), cut your dough into two portions, it will facilitate the work. Spread the first half to roll and sprinkle 70 grams of brown sugar, then roll each end towards the middle order which come together and put in freezer five short minutes to harden a little dough to prevent it from crashing too much cutting.
Operate the same way with the other portion of dough.

Winter Hydrangea - Hydrangea
To ensure frost, a desire to look romantic, a shawl crocheted with Nature's Palette wool lace home NatureSongs 100% merino tone hand with plants. A real dream of softness, lightness and warmth. I chose the colors Hydrangea which no longer appears in the catalog and that's a shame, it really is the color of hydrangeas, a soft color changing to wrap themselves in nostalgia for the days lost.
A little shawl to keep my shoulders WRAM With A romantic look, crocheted With A Nature's Palette yarn from lace NatureSongs , 100% plant-dyed merino. A true Softness, Warmth and ligthness dream. I've Chosen the "Hydrangea" It Seems to shade to not exist anymore, what a pity ... It really looks like hydrangea flowers, a sweet Changing Colors to wrap myself in the lost summer nostalgia.
The border is crocheted with wool lace Japanese brand Pierrot found in the wonderful shop Gwenola K . To accompany the shawl with a Victorian air and protect my little hands that do not like the cold, mittens a little fantasy. The border
IS crocheted lace With A japanese yarn (Pierrot brand) I've found in The Lovely Gwenola K shop, a shop full of true Marvel. And to match The shawl With A Victorian look and keep my little hands warm, I've crocheted fingerless mittens aussi.
On another note, we found a really great kit: a metal structure on which it has put a square fireclay which is placed in the tiled stove and allow to cook over a wood fire pizza and breads ... Since then, makes bread more once a week and it's a real treat, the bread is well risen, we do not get tired, I would even say we could do without it now. Here is a bread with poppy seeds that my man has just been released. And Sunday is often the day of the focaccia with olives ...
And as I found this wonderful book: "Bread and other delights" by Anne Sheasby Gründ editions, I want to try many other things. This book is a mine, it contains recipes moult breads and pastries from around the world, a treasure!
And now, in a different topic, We Have Bought A brilliant kit: a metallic frame WHERE lay a "grog" (really do not know The Word in English, it's a lot of fireproof stone). We put it inside o tiled stove to bake pizzas
and breads. Here Is The picture of a poppy seed bread With That DH just got Out of the stove. Yummy!

A simple heart for a Xmas ornament, QUICKLY stitched, satin stitch and backstitch Mainly, I love the view result. It's a 2005 Rosalie Quinlan's project, "Heart fo Christmas". Now I've stitched "Home," There are still "Angels" and "Friends" to stitch, so more to follow ;-)

How Many Calories Ina Brownies
Jane Austen, Beatrix Potter & Co
I do not know why but I always loved the costumes, the murmur of organdy that offends walking, the long skirts that must be addressed to climb stairs, frilly, old lace (without arsenic), boots laced hats and gloves.
I feel more feminine clothing, fancier, more elegant too ... I may look pretty standard imposed by the fashion and ready-to-wear. So as to spend time in making his own clothes, as "letting go" a little and do things you really love without worrying "that tell you one." Things handmade with care, things that will last ...
During my wanderings on the web I discovered things perfectly in line with what I was looking for and, so, I wanted to share my findings telling me that I was perhaps not the only "original", especially when I see the renewed interest in the work of Jane Austen (embroiderers will understand what I mean).
So I discovered the beautiful site of Jenny Chancey: Sense & Sensibility , whose name is the title of a book by Jane Austen (this will not escape the fans). There are patterns inspired clothing dating from the Regency, Edwardian period, and even some inspired by the movie Titanic. There is also a forum to get help if necessary, to exchange ideas. I threw my heart on the skirt and jacket "Beatrix Potter", a romantic blouse and a dress of the afternoon the Edwardian era. It remains for me to convince my boyfriend to take me to find the fabric of my dreams.
In the same vein, there are some very nice home Folkwear . I think they do it later "riding skirt. Not that I have the soul of an Amazon or inclination to play Calamity Jane, but it seems ideal to beat the campaign in the fall.
And then there River Junction. Here, no bosses but clothes that can greatly inspirer et surtout des accessoires pour compléter une tenue.
I cannot really explain the reason why I love costumes, the whispering organdi crumpled while walking, the long skirts lightly lifted to go upstairs, rustles, old laces, tied up boots, hats and gloves.
I want more feminity in my clothes, more fancy and more elegance too. I think I'm perhaps fed up with
the standard look imposed by fashion and ready to wear clothes.
As for spending time doing my own clothes, I'll unleash the fancy and do what I really love without being worried about what the others think. Carefully handmade clothes last.
While wandering on the web, I've discovered some nice places with things matching perfectly my little heart whishes and I thought I should perhaps share my findings just in case...
So, I've discovered the wonderful Jenny Chancey's website: Sense & Sensibility , perfect for the ones who love Jane Austen's universe. Jenny sells her own patterns based on clothes from Regency and Edwardian era. She also owns a forum linked to her website where you can find help and share your ideas. I set my heart to the Beatrix Potter jacket and skirt, a romantic blouse and a dress from the edwardian era. Now I just have to persuade my beloved to take me shopping and choose the fabric of my dreams.
There are also some nice patterns in the same style at Folkwear . I think I'll certainly sew their rinding skirt. Not that I want to play Calamity Jane, but this sort of skirt seams to be the perfect cloth to walk in the countryside, especially for this season and the winter.
I've also discovered River Junction . No pattern here, but some readymade inspiring clothes and pretty accessories to complete the look.
Well, if you know more similar websites, be kind enough to share, I'll be more than happy. ;-)

Needle - A needlebook
A small gift for the birthday of a friend.
I used a grid of Little House Needleworks (Holly and Berries) with which I took some liberties to compose this book needle. Inside, the lining is a fabric printed with Christmas holly background red, the red felt costume maintained by a point over and shaded rock garden.
I stitched our initials on the back of the respective book.
I chose this theme with care: she loves red and reception in his house is always warm, the atmosphere is joyful always makes me think of Christmas.

Talents Confectioners in October - October confectioner's skills
This week, we had the first big frost, revealing the talents of master confectioner of October: a real magic in the garden where every plant seemed covered with sugar.
This week, We Had The First serious frost, Revealing october confectioner's great skills: the magical garden WAS With All the plants and flowers Covered with "sugar".
Problably my last bunch of roses for the Season, There Are Still A Few rosebuds but I'm not sure They Will Open Before the huge frost, espacially Because of the rain.
And now the advance of my fall schedule.
Here Is The progress of my stitching chart autumn.
First some images full of colors of the season.
I weave wreaths to adorn the front porch of our house with the seasons. So I braided a crown with what I found in the garden and its surroundings: braided stems still green viburnum in late summer to form the structure, some branches of ivy, bunches of rose hips , and voila!
First of all, a few "pictures of the Season full colors.
I like to weave and decorate wreaths welcoming entrance porch according o The Seasons. This time, I've made this wreath With What I've found in the Garden: Viburnum stems I've weaved throughout late summer When Still green and pliable to form The STRUCTURE, Virginia creeper Some branches and Some rosehip posies and voila!

Probably my last bouquet of roses of the season, there are still some buttons but not sure he would have time to open before the cold weather, especially rain. Grid Fall - The Autumn A grid chart
As promised, here is the fall schedule, I hope you enjoy it.
I began to stitch ... the first that ended the other shows? :-)
As promised, here is the autumn chart, I hope you will enjoy it.
I've started to stitch it... well, can the first one who has finished it show it to the others? :-)
I've chosen a Silkweaver linen from the Expression range, "Mountain Mist", it's a grey fabric. I think that the floss colors show up pretty well against this color background and it's also the color of the misty morning autumn skies - it's also a good choice because of the white stitches. A Belfast confederate grey should also be a good choice.
Just a little note: I put the blow wind backstitches in grey on my chart to be clear and easy to read, but they have to be stitched in white (it's in the chart instructions).
And now, happy stitching!

Fall - An Autumn chart
Long ago I had not "set foot in my house" ... Always plenty to do in the summer that I feel distant from the canvas in every sense of the word ;-)
fall back with its changing colors for the foliage ablaze, his little chilly mornings and scarves fog, the fire in the fireplace that turns on, the smell of hot chocolate, the acorns in the hollow roads, chestnuts and walnuts, quince jelly that whispers in the copper pot.
To celebrate the season, I propose a small grid (78 X 96 points), which reads the image to give you an idea ... I did not embroidered, it is still in draft form and I have to check out the colors before the final grid (the colors on the screen is not always realistic).
It's Been A Long Time Since I've been there ... So Many Things To Do Outside When The fair weather is back That keep me away from the web and from my needles and hoops. Autumn is back
Now with subtle colors Changing historical setting ablaze The Leaves, history chilly early morning misty and scarves, We Light up the fire again, hot chocolate nice smells in the house... acorns, chesnuts and walnuts on the sunken path and the quinces jelly "whispering" in the copper cauldron.
I've created a little chart to celebrate this season (78W X 96H) I want to share with you, here is the picture to give you an idea. I've not yet started to stitch it, it's just a project chart on my computer for now and I have to check the floss colors before releasing it (sometimes the colors on the screen are not so close from the one I want to use).
Tell me what you think in the comments ;-)
I still do not know if I'll Give You The Whole chart in one go or if we'll do a little SAL With 3 or 4 Units. Please let me know What You Are Thinking About In The comments area ;-)

Which Part Of Body Is Affected By Malaria?
Plic plop ... ... ... plic
... is the sound of water that seeps and streams when it comes crashing to the floor of my room ...
few days later ...
A little while without a new, yet nothing new. Probably a little lack of inspiration and motivation. Just a ride Quad yesterday when he fell from a rainstorm in the last 3 days and we suffered a pretty grain along the way! Ca gadouille, it's slippery, it makes noise, it's cool! It all ends with a rum and fritters. The homecoming will not wait long ...
Lets see ... however St.Lucia
It was divine!
Quick overview probably incomplete
Friday: we drink before the boat into the boat after the boat, we arrive, we put the business, you drink, you go to a but very local place known for great eating conch outdoors, then towards the Friday Night: in short, music in the streets of the world, drinking and eating. Fortunately that was the Martinique with us who know the area and return a little shit ... some people suspicious! In short, drink and dance ...
yes, country! It is attacking a different world and I find it hard to describe it to you because it was so magical in a sense. State of play.
It's midnight and a tropical rain descends on St. Lucia happily, playing with the lights of the lampposts. A long avenue bordered a bay that houses a cargo port where cranes are busy unloading a cargo ship. Everything will unfold in the concrete structure resembling a parking garage open on the sides, then along the road.
Beer, it is still disgusting ...
Later, around 3 or 4am, we'll show up in a facility more ... hot! A track T which come dancing babes ... where we put the tickets etc etc ... well like in the movies. Everyone is a little HS anyway. In short, it will be light when you come out. And no, not much more to tell about it!
Sunday: Parkway and yum to what we found, is a local yum Friendly Martinique (Damn it was good!) Was grilled cashews, then back on the cushy boat and head for the port of Grande Anse ... it goes fast, it shakes, sometimes a little too hard, but it happens. Late Night with Ti Sable with a lot of people ...
short, since it's quiet, not much to report! No stroll in Guadeloupe, I dragged too, and the time right now is not the most lenient. Airfare taken for June 29, return by 1 September if something holds me still here at that time.
Big kisses to all and courage because, obviously, is not it too much time in France!

How To Play Bloodmoon Without Cd
Santa Lucia!
And now new photos!
this weekend so it was the funeral of a boyhood pal ... and it was therefore spent on the side of St. Lucia, an island just south of Martinique. (What you see from the beach of Diamond).
Rally Friday afternoon to see the beautiful game of football with France (it's pitiful to see it ...). It was a good excuse to gather everyone! I pass on the details ...
[I will write more later, I have no inspiration there! In the meantime, I mets le lien de deux nouveaux albums.
Not for beauty, then yes, but the beauty of the scenery in some places or events. I will try to best describe later] + @

(Note: Whew, I put EVERYTHING ... it would have taken nearly 4H. There are many photos by theme. Although sometimes not all in order as taken with both devices and therefore the names do not follow. In any case, everything is I think I put a lot of commentary on the album, it can always serve)
Finally a little quiet, finally some time, finally enough to seriously track in recent weeks.
What's new in all this? A lot of little odds and still hop ... go, follow me I'm making a tour!
Let the course of events at the end of my contract, that is to say, more or less to May 12 I have more precise timeline in mind at the time, but not glop something happened: the accident Lele ... Helena. Yes, nobody knows me here but I crazy, I want to honor him is without doubt the strongest person mentally that I have ever known, the person most in tune with life. It is simply impressive. In short, it was an accident at the con. One evening, an infinity pool, a fall ... and probably the rest of his life in a wheelchair, but I believe in it ... that ...
As I said Nico, without including the side " unhealthy "of the saying" the misfortune of some facts the happiness of others. " Basically, it allowed me to meet a friend of hers who is none other than the person who has recruited and also her manager and colleague ...
Hmm ... next ...
As I have said in a previous post on Saturday, 15 landed a plane in Charlotte with Corsair Fly ... and if we had gone to make the trek during the two weeks I was not disappointed ... it either way! For once I'll organize all the photos, at least you can understand something.
Before the festivities begin, I think I have never in my life as much market in as little time! Between 4 and 6 hours of walking per day with only a few days off in all this! M'enfin, it feels good!
Retrospective more or less accurate and comprehensive!
Sunday, May 16:
It starts "softly". This will be the Morne Larcher morning to get into his legs. In theory, 45 good minutes of walk to go up, plus a dozen minutes to get there from my home in Petone. Yes, it is far from 4 to 6 o'clock, but it will be unique in the genre and, ultimately, it will not be easier! First thing: Charlotte is struggling to digest his bowl of Honey Pops then necessarily, it just temporizes ^ ^ Second thing, are 45 minutes on a very uneven and very steep rocky, kind of a nice slope should be between 30 to 45% without any exaggeration at all ... does that 'to take a z'œil to photos!
The afternoon will be calmer Anse Noire. A tiny black sand cove where people come to snorkel mask. Many fish, almost the certainty of seeing a turtle and rarely more than two dozen people on the beach.
Evening: Ti Sable! Then Ti Sable is a bar / restaurant on the beach in beautiful surroundings with thatched huts and everything. Tonight and more, what are the 7 years of concerts are given every Sunday from 20 to 22H, suddenly we have the right to two concerts, including that of a rock band that makes the recovery of known pieces. Bubble machine, giant screen but in a very intimate. The wind is cool ... then "Marcia Baila" Rita Mitsouko, a tropical rain invites himself and then it becomes pure happiness. Only a handful still dancing feet in the wet sand, but damn it atmosphere :-) We will therefore go wet but after spending a wonderful evening!
Monday, May 17:
My birthday! No walk today, but shopping, preparing food and a most enjoyable evening in a very small committee, exactly what I wanted ^ ^

Tuesday, May 18:
attack was the first big hike and like Anthony and Cecilia (torque roommate) had already spoken to get a hike requiring 2 cars (Trailhead too far from that of arrival) and we took advantage bah. So, Chris, a friend and uh, another guy I do not remember the name came! We thus arrive in ch'nord, a good half hour of Pelee car for a walk that should do something like 5H. It starts all cushy, then it rises, then we arrive in the jungle, then you get to the second car ... well that's pretty much how it happened, except for one thing however: the bull ^ ^
So basically, at the end of the hike, we are on a path a few meters wide and bang in the middle, there is a nice bull tied to a stake as there are many farmers who do. The problem is he was 6 or 7 feet in chains, so we do not get too clever! It is already trying to scare her, which does nothing at all ... and then dares to past, one by one, slowly. Until then nickel ... except that there are dogs to pass Antoine, and that, that seems a bit more disturbing Mr. Bull! In short, it ends with the dogs in their arms to be racing through the bull on a short distance ... luckily le piquet a tenu, sinon je crois bien que l’on courrait encore !!!

Petit interlude bivouac avec des courses faites à l’arrache dans un petit boui-boui, enfin everything was done the hard, but the corner with one aspect of the end of the world pretty cool!

Wednesday 19:
is part of Anse Snake direction along the northern side somehow ... good for 6 hours (it's a round trip) during which there will be some nice views, a matoutou cliff (the spider in the photos), a apparently species specific to Martinique and full of mango eat on the way! Otherwise, it's pretty boring and long: the jungle, everything looks a little bit. Fortunately, there are some water / waterfall to soak the feet and Grailler one end.
In fact, our goal is to go up a river of time (well the rivers here are a series of ponds and small waterfalls) to find the three waterfalls that feed it ... but like super sucks, you will only see the first stop and it miami feet in the water in front of a small pond where I will spend a big chunk of time with my reflex after discovering that the sensation of scratching / pinching I felt that was due to a crayfish ...
So, after watching, it is not one, but full of crayfish (black and "transparent" are there). So I put my foot to attract each other and it's nice ... and then as it was still full of corned beef and ... bah we bait with that! In short, I enjoyed myself, especially after the crayfish, surprise! A crab comes, then a second short, it was fun! There's even a moment a crab that has pointed the tip of his nose but remained at the center of the basin and should do, no kidding, the size of a small lobster, a good twenty centimeters, a real monster!
Once in the car, we went back home ... we were a bit tired!
Thursday 20:
Rest and kitchen of best Penne carbo the world has ever known ... the guests will testify ;-)
Friday 21:
The Pelee, Pelee! Basically, we had more or less planned to sleep over at third refuge, but even by attacking rather late, it made us too long to stay in a shelter to wet peel ass between the humidity, wind and fog ^ ^ So, after our 5 hour hike good ... we left by car, and we had a good shit ... I come back later!
therefore Pelee bah it climbs, it Hardos, especially with a bag over 10kgs on his back. It's pretty nice, when the fog and clouds are willing to make room for a few seconds to a bit of exposure! In short, to do for the sport, but not essential to my point of view. Special dedication to the beautiful rain that we had fallen on the slope above the third leading ... refuge in the last 400 meters with a vertical drop of 200m ...! Yep, the 50% so ... That said, big delusion, because after a while you loose the "Rhâââ is hard" and you quicken up the pace and you love it :-)

So, we found the car to 15H and ... as usual ', we have death, just like my car to force it to dry socks and T-shirt stinky! It was therefore decided to do everything around to go back to Grand River (due north) and try to find a guest room or something like that. We'll make it I do not know how many terminals it, to find anything open, neither restaurant nor room for pioncer! We'll all go down through all the northern towns, nothing! Between Grand River and the Trinity, we only find two restaurants to open: pizzerias! We stop at the last, it is almost 22H. € 18 pizza, but pizza V'la ^ ^ In short, the ch'nord, excluding full time, not much else open, especially at night ... or should have call an indefinite time before, something that can be found in Dominica ... but all in good time!
Basically: end of the day a bit lousy, but hey ^ ^
Saturday 22:
Peninsula of La Caravelle - center of Martinique: 4H wee hours walk. One of the most famous marches of Martinique because pretty overall, average swimming etc.. There's not shit, after Mount Pelee, the smallest uneven legs are hurting! The photos speak for me.
http://picasaweb.google.com/Juli1Nicolas/Caravelle
http://picasaweb.google.com/Juli1Nicolas/Caravelle
the evening we go to see Robert Pauline, a friend that Charlotte has not seen for some years. In short, his two flatmates are awesome: pancakes, rum and pool to finish the afternoon and start the evening ... I conclude elsewhere. In short, great fun!
Sunday 23:
What a horrible
view from the terrace: D
Monday 24:
Preparing to leave for Dominica and boarding the boat ... always a joy transport punctuality by side ... yes, it's ironic ...
Another thing I liked: vomit my guts edge! Fuck what I've been sick! The mind that pill, eh my mommy :-) Sacred neps ^ ^
We thus arrive on site to er ... a good 20H! (Well there it it is 1:40 p.m. ET to 1:30 should I write and I'll take a break yum! See you soon!)
On site, naturally, taxis kind van jap '... Moreover, there is THAT car Jap 'in Dominica! Seriously, about 90%, the rest is Correena 8%, 1% American and the rest is divided between a BMW, Audi and a Renault that I could pass! In short, back in the taxi! The approach is fairly straightforward like "ok you go there go up." Limit it leaves you more much choice once you got where you were going to say LOL! Suddenly, the guy will not hurt us wander as "Guest House" is closed we will see where there is nobody at the reception ... the longer it goes the more it is late. The guy, super helpful, place phone calls left to right we find a few things well and we should do an hour of driving before you find something, not given, but probably the cleanest thing we has had. A small apartment, air conditioned and fully equipped for $ 60 U.S. a night. In short, the taxi is not cheap either here, far from it!
short, if in any case there are only three things to remember in Dominica, this would be:
- The people are super helpful and friendly ... not always for purely neutral but good, absolute, people do not hesitate to come with you to show you, is to advise you and impressive indeed!
- Everything works except the phone because many things are closed. Basically, there's shops that only open when dining do that if you asked before, quite confusing at first!
-Some people live very well from tourism because frankly, the prices are frankly abused to certain places for certain activities (everybody wants to be your guide!). Charlotte also had some bad things ... and there's what.
Then there are some very nice corners, there's way to eat cheap when you know a little, the fruit is excellent and this is by far something that costs the least: you see the photos but for 13 EC $ (4 € wholesale) we had 2 grapefruit, 4 passion fruit, 2 large mangoes and pineapples (which alone sells for about 3-4 € in France). Not bother to specify it's full of juice and sunshine!
Oh yes, I forgot something that could serve as the fourth thing to remember! There is almost no sign whatever the location of the island! I do not know if I need my two hands to count the signs to I've seen on the island ... and yet we did the whole car ride! This is typical from there, nothing is said LOL! You want the bus, you ask the people bah! There is no stop or markings ... in short, must be initiated if not oh well, you turn round quickly!
Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26:

The night we got a bar restaurant where we spent a long time ... and the two following evenings. Good food, really cheap and it was downright too friendly with the cook / waitress was absolutely brilliant, a great girl, really ... thanks to it we really had an incredible time in human terms. A pearl.

Friday 28:
The big day: the Boiling Lake! The largest or second largest lake in the world! 6H touring scheduled, but not least! The humid jungle punctuated by small streams and creeks, passes to the valley of desolation, and then slap it! The photos do not make it but the colors are extraordinary. The smell of sulfur, fumaroles, hot water, the land completely technical magnificent. The lake is not slow to show themselves too early ... and apart from the steam!
http://picasaweb.google.com/Juli1Nicolas/BoilingLake
http://picasaweb.google.com/Juli1Nicolas/BoilingLake
short, at first I found the hike less hard than the Pelee because they are multitudes of vertical but not very violent ... this is long, with Charlotte it was completely burnt the next day, much worse than the Pelee! FYI, the Pelee is especially two large uneven, the first attack since the first few meters and never finished climbing over and over again!
Returning in the evening, we bought a bottle of rum corner, orange juice and a few cakes appetizer and shoo! The evening bar: a beer, "Smack my ass and take me to bed" which I know the composition, but it disconnects ... a little time on the dance floor ... and the pile! I had not slept so well since long!
Bottoms Up!
Saturday 29:
Last full day! On the program: hiking Poppa ... in the end we will walk between 4 and 5H anyway! It was quickly pulling the legs, it is worn, but the two lakes that we will see are really worth, frankly. The photos speak for themselves, without it being as pretty as what our eyes could see ^ ^
short, we go Spent ... you nap and we leave the bar so! LOL
In fact, I think that Dominique Courte Paille did not break, suddenly they had to recycle it into a church ... or he made the biggest flat cake of the world as they saw it was useless, they made a roof for their church! Hmm ... sorry! More seriously, religion is very present here, almost everywhere. It is also much more lively and vocals (not singing with the con as old as time ... swing it here!)
Sunday 30:
We finished preparing Poppa luggage and we headed to the port! MDR of anything! Nothing as indicated on the entire island, you make it hard to asking how you do. No control, you can bring with you a knife, bomb, gun, 15kgs of drugs, nobody checks it anyway ^ ^
Otherwise, the shipping company, faithful itself, we gratify a delay of one hour and fifteen minutes more on the crossing of 1:30. In port, you must wait until everything is unloaded out, security question ... is patient So half an hour more! Oh yes, I have not been sick during the trip. Yet if the boat does not make me vomit, it could have been the case with this wonderful film that went into the boat, "Lara Croft"! But no, I held out!
After I do not know about, but Charlotte was the preferred wine, rum and red meat on Monday and Tuesday was full vegetables! We still managed to be on Monday, the beef tartare, carpaccio of beef and lower ribs of beef! It has also been a misery in cubi wine MDR! Maybe 36H well the coolest during those 15 days!
bah Then Charlotte took over his plane ... with of course a few hours late ... same battle ship or plane:-D
Since then, sports, paperwork, reading etc etc. We need to plan my week I arrive in Guadeloupe, the weekend burial of bachelorhood with a pot in St. Lucia! The kind of weekends where we boat, villa with pool, in short, a crazy thing to committee rather small.
And in all that no, I still do not know how I'll manage to read exactly: when do I go? I sell my car? I bring my business? I return to Martinique after September? Anyway ... blur the fullest and at the same time whatever, it's not as if I had an obligation to make a decision, no one waits for a specific date or something so special about it ' is cool :-)
I saw my little man living in the moment and the least we can say that and I take a lot of fun. I feel good, I have more than enough to keep myself busy, I pretty much have everything I need, I am serene, beaming after the rest ... ...
In this talk, I'll take care of photos for you to open your eyes ... I hope!
Kisses to all and take care of you. Enjoy the warmth of summer arrives, the mild sun and smell the flowers ... girls in skirts shorter and shorter (for men) and uh ... well what you ladies!
JuJu.

Champagne Fairy - Fairies' Square Champagne
I'll tell you the secret to a delicious and very ancient, that of elderberry lemonade also called elderflower champagne, but I prefer to call more poetically "Champagne Fairy" ... because the elder is also known in popular tradition "fairy tree" (A must read: the fairy tale entitled "The Elderberry Fairy").
First, you must collect Elderflower (Sambucus nigra) ... in season, hurry, time is very short! I'm lucky to have them in my garden, but the elderberry shrub is easily in the countryside where it grows wild. Caution, do not be confused with the Hieble elder (Sambucus ebulus), which is an herbaceous winter disappears and is toxic!
I'll Tell you a secret ... I'll Give You the very old and delicious recipe of the elder tree lemonade, aussi elder tree here Called champagne but I prefer to use my own name which is more poetic "Fairies Champagne"... just because the elder tree is also known as "fairy tree" in the folklore ( you should read Andersen's fairytale "The Fairy of the Elder Tree").
First of all, you need to harvest some elder tree flowers (sambucus nigra)... it's the season but hurry up because this time is so short! I am very lucky to have some of these trees in my backyard, but you easily can find some naturally growing in the countryside. But be aware of not to be confused with the herbaceous variety (sambucus ebulus) which is toxic!

Teach them to swim in a large container (I used my big brass preserving pan) filled with 8 liters of spring water with added 10cl organic apple cider vinegar and 1 kilo of sugar ! Add to sit with these damsels swimmers bio 2 lemons cut into slices and marinate it all for three days, stirring regularly. You can recite a few models of good singing, it should help ;-)

After three days of maceration, filtration is required, mettre en bouteille (utilisez des bouteilles de limonade à capsule) et attendre 3 semaines avant de déguster ce délicieux nectar à bulles. Certaines
After three days of soaking, you have to seep and bottle in (use soda bootles with special stoppers) and wait 3 weeks before savouring this delicious "bubbling" nectar. Some old fairies From The previous generations Sometimes Added a Handful Of Limetree flowers goal I've not yet Tried With this extra ingredient. And now enjoy!
I'll Give you later, When The Elderberries Will Be mature, The Recipe Of The syrup Made With The berries (a true marvel!)
A small note to all those that I normally visit regularly ... Right now, I do not have much time to tinker or visit you and leave you messages, I apologize ... But I hope to soon find my stride.

Messages For Card Christening
Some news ...
Well, is that it starts to make a little while since I last posted some news program. This will blow it this fast. I will take time especially when I'm really, that is, after Dominica we attack tomorrow in theory, even if the boat is completely shit: it happens over there at 19.30!
Charlotte has arrived on the 15th, since it's hiking on hikes ... we can no longer stump! Mount Pelee, rivers, jungle, a tarantula, mango (which I became the master of sweet mango ... yeah ok the pun is rotten!)

Potager in
Because it torments me for three years already, because I waited too long to offer me this book I was dreaming (The Art of the Potager in square Prédine Eric and Jean-Paul Collaert) and that it is now exhausted, I ended up giving me this:
've decided to give up my garden "online" to get into creating a garden in squares. Several reasons motivate this choice:
- the same surface as an online garden, we harvest a greater variety of vegetables and it's still nice to have variety to the plate
- apart from the initial implementation that takes a bit of thought and elbow grease, this kind of garden requires less work to maintain
- space is optimized ergonomically for spare themselves the trouble: maximum width of three parcels in order to always have ready access to each parcel from the aisles and not have to extend the arm too far for work, finished spaces between riquiqui each row of vegetables where you can barely put a foot where we wallow in the mud when it rained ...
- it is more compatible with a comprehensive "bio" of culture: mixed cultivation plots in a single plate to facilitate inter-species protection against pests, water conservation, crop rotation etc ...
- then we have need a basket lined with a few hand tools to deal with this green oasis, which suits me much because I'm like "dreamy" to take me regularly feet in the rakes and other tool handles. This will save me making countless trips back in the chalet to pick up tools that I could not lug the first trip.
- it's as much an aesthetic garden traditional growing areas are demarcated by borders (wood, brick, pavers ... anything goes) and lanes, we mix it with flowers, vegetables and aromatics.
For a lover of history like me, it's also an opportunity to immerse myself in some research ... This kind of garden is reminiscent of the poetic "hortus conclusus" medieval (and this also gives me many ideas for future quilts and embroidery).
I intend to do a sort of logbook of this project so "Virtual" through this blog and also so real with a notebook on which I hold my plantation, my crops, natural treatments, the design ideas with sketches, etc ... I am very excited about this project dear to my heart and hope to complete it.
Mr Mirabilys helped me take steps in this part of the garden that will serve as my "playground and experience", I made a scale drawing and I am currently trying to calculate the number of boards and parts as I would have to feed us. I already have several different plans for my plots seamlessly, decide the location of driveways without losing too much space for culture (my garden is not so big!). I'll show these plans as soon as I'm satisfied. It lacks an important element to finish developing this plan: the dimensions of the pool (we have not made our choice).
You wonder what might well be a pool in a garden .... It's been quite a vegetable garden is almost a garden dressed up and I want to give a hidden meaning, symbolism in this little corner of paradise ... Exactly, the word is out: "PARADISE". The Garden of Eden, in the texts, is a garden divided by four rivers .... this gave the garden enclosure of monasteries divided into four parts, Eastern and Andalusian gardens with a pond, a fountain in the middle.
Those who have visited the Andalusian gardens of the Alhambra, or those smaller houses in Cordoba and Granada in particular know how the gentle murmur of water is nice ... The song of the water has a healing power and brings freshness to the garden. If care is taken to construct the basin on the floor (I mean hence the pool is dug and the water flush with the ground) with the correct dimensions and some plants, it is very likely a small wildlife will settle by itself: the frogs and toads it will take up residence (these are very useful auxiliaries to the garden because they eat a number of unwanted critters) and there are chances that the dragonflies nearby stream are more likely to visit (I have time time to wander in the garden, especially blue).
I've spotted a floating solar fountain that also serves as a filter that would be perfect to oxygenate the water daily from high heat. No electricity required, no unsightly cable, great!
That ... the project begins to take shape on paper ... and hopefully soon in the garden.
