Can Deep Penetration Cause Serious Damage

What ends, begins and continues

"thank you helou, i will always remember the day i was sick and you gave me medecines, and the day you told me: if you do it one more time, Will you sleep outside "...

and say it seems that I was strictly ...

Tuesday I organized my surprise party at Estelle before I leave. frenzied racing motorcycle in Phnom Penh, buy spring rolls Olympic market, to fill beer, bake the cakes in the MEP and change me by wearing the beautiful pink teddy bear pajamas that Sokka had offered to accommodate my guests.
I spent my last night on a mat in the arms of vanna, I've just spoken but that is a saleswoman Khmer.
Khmer Friendships are so soft. Stay overnight at my removed was a beautiful gift she gave me.

Wednesday I pack my bag quickly moved under the gaze of Sabrina. Father Franco was the last time I tighten the clamp, and I was the last time the bike to take Sabrina Psar Tauch at a meeting of ladies of the solidarity committee, to address a goddaughter found. Miracle I found the frog in the font that I presented. Sabrina is immediately embarked on his first visit home, alone. Ordinated the mission fell into his hands. Catch up before the lady who takes her last words we exchanged in a confusing jumble of words:
"Thank you, Good luck, good luck yes, thank you to you, good luck, yeah, bye, have fun you must fit well ... yeah, I'll go"

I go back to motodop office renews the heartbreaking farewell. I can not even really say goodbye to Eva, who is on the ground trying to pass his torch to Elodie. it's weird to go like this ... as an ingrate.

from Phnom Penh in the rain. I wanted to be alone to feel me out, do not miss this solemn moment when you close the door of a particular year, too.
In this departure, it is especially the guilt that I most tapped. no nostalgia for the past year, not the joy of returning home, not the anguish of finding the pace of Paris. Guilt.
All eyes say
"yes we love you, yes it was nice to work together and we started to do a good job and getting along ... but eventually you too am just passing . you stay long enough to adopt rules of your game, it acts in and you go away. "

So to those who ask me how I saw this back, apologizing to ask what they believe to be a platform issue, I say a little pensive, "I'm happy but I feel guilty."

At the airport, I slipped the last draw of "Cambodge Soir in my bag to keep a dated reference purpose.

few hours more and less later, I set foot in Paris.
I change ... or rather I sell out my dollars to a few euros.
I rush into a taxi ...

"sorry sir, I'm going to St. Lazare ... but ... uh ... you would not by chance Cambodian?"
I look back to Eva at the luncheon to Marmite, a French restaurant, where we invited Chanroeurn law student left alone in Phnom Penh during the holidays to pass the exams integrated the French section of the college.

"no, Chanroeurn, students who have family in France are not better than you. You know, they friment saying they have family in France, but their uncles are generally not ministers. in fact they are often taxi driver ... "

my taxi driver was in Cambodia the figure. he grumbles against bus lanes, traffic jams and unload trucks in the streets of Amsterdam as a good old Paris.
welcome in Paris. phlegm Cambodia is far more than a myth.
Rue St Lazare, I fell into the arms of the most beautiful, the most expensive, the most precious Grandpa.
what I missed it, the cow!

Grandpa has not changed.
I am happy to share my first breakfast, Paris with him, although I sort of insipid Lipton tea, and croissants Pasquiers out of a bag industry as a snack.
He has not changed. better.

The second taxi driver is also Cambodia. That leads me grandpa down the building and when he leaves the car, he died of laughter, because really, Cambodia is invited in this return to France.

bottom of my building that is Audrey, who is waiting to help me up my bags.
the day will be like that. cheers, hugs, cheers, hugs ...

In the street, finally, what is surprising is not wealth, it is not clean, or even being able to walk on a sidewalk, but many times I heard myself think, "that one is old in France "or" what it is like grandfathers in Paris "...
G20 at the supermarket, I had a great emotion in me losing the aisles to choose my meal home. and then I was a little disappointed too, because here, when you buy a pack of rolls of PQ, there was no spoon as a gift.
I also said that the misery of a city like Paris was finally almost harder than Phnom Penh or Kdolleu. At least Cambodia, the poor are not transparent to the way they are not "excluded" as here.

In fact it is very easy to Paris again. very easy to put boots, a scarf and a raincoat, dragging its Navigo pass on the terminals of Vélib ', and pay for her coffee 2 euros 40.
is a little too easy.

There. this blog is coming to an end and he just intended to give a conclusion to this year.

many times I said "oh that, I can not talk in the blog and this great idea got lost in the limbo of the action, many times I said" what pity I did not also have time to keep a journal, "but we never leave enough trace, it does not capture enough memories, and I know that soon, too soon, I will forget the precious things, starting with my Khmer if "pirou" if "fluent"

... maybe nobody will read this post since I came back.
But for the few diehards who will be eager to read me so far, for the few onlookers web who could follow the journey of initiation of a complete unknown, the time may be welcome to say that it was extraordinary leave, extraordinary experience this is Cambodia, but also make you special share.

Acrostic Poem About Camels

Letter to Taklith

my beauty,

you see today I come home.
and this page is ours.
I let my swimming in the Mekong, I leave my parish priests around the world, I leave the markets stink but intoxicate me, kids who take their carts full of trash, and grandmas that make me the eye. I let the students, the girls of anakut Laor that dry their tears full of reproach for the eternal abandonment that subject them volunteers bamboo, I leave my blue shirt, scratched EDM, I leave some clothing tees, I leave DYCFE, my baby, my flesh, my blood ...
I leave and all world said, "okay? it's not too hard?"
and it is true that it's hard. but you see, my little one Tak know you're there, I falls on my birthday, I'll find you a beer, with the throng of people who matter most in spite of everything we can construct a year, we will find love as before on a beach or on a pillow, it is not a consolation.
know that I come on your birthday, as if on purpose, as a need not to miss it, I have forgotten many times, it gives a little meaning to my return.
be there like you were there in this blog, the champagne with you and for you, on behalf of all the birthdays missed, ignored all the friends (I missed the anniversary of anne marie, big tip that I am, I have only just realizing it) the time I build, do something you knew I'd even before I may have the project, it makes even one on the plane next to a snoring old chnoque my picnic blanket, and knock my juices tomato, I'm happy to return.

I can not wait to bring you your gift, you must excuse me if I am a bit west, a little toast on the edges?
you will excuse me if I start all my sentences not "you know in Cambodia ..." and "with the Father forgive me if you Yvan ..."? I'm not enough "you"? if I also for you to be with me, and not just because I want to be there for you?

Taklith, my beauty,
is terribly unfair, because I can be experienced one of my best years away from you, away from smala Paris, far from mine, but looks like this dear Joachim
"happy as that Odysseus was a great trip, and then returned full of custom and reason to see her dead drunk takounette which celebrates its 25th birthday before going to throw up his wine. "Sacred Joachim, he knew what he was saying it.

I look forward to hold you in my arms,
Happy
anniveraire old branch!

Optiplex Gx620 Ses Driver

Enjoy the remaining time

Sabrina arrived.
I started falling sick as dry, as the day of the party for the departure of the students in their province, there is less than a month.
... you said "psychosomatic "?... Not ... at all ...

anyway, every moment becomes painful to the point that to be honest, I almost wish to be gone. One month to say "I am going, you will receive Sabrina", a month to feel about the outset. Too much. I feel like not enough time but they stole my time.
I feel a little thief myself. I finally feel almost by some imposture made in the coming happiness in receiving the generous pretext of wanting to give. I come, I believe that I stay, but finally I'm leaving. After all, staying one year, it's a bit like that. it's a little lie about our intentions.
But I'm not saying this to get 10 comments comforters. Because the positive point now is that I get to give something that lasts. This I learned that I can redistribute, reinvest, fraud and less.

meanwhile, the remaining time is not easy to manage.

then I take time to rest as I can. I dreamed of Ratanakiri and Preah Cardamomms or Viher, but ultimately, it is not so bad not even know them. After all, it just means that I will return.

What I am doing so now is the replay lived. I pace
Phnom Penh with passion, as I walked Paris before leaving for Cambodia.
I remember being photographed with magic squares that I loved, my friends the pigeons, buses Tagged Belleville, Arc de Triomphe in a purple sunset, the signs prohibited lawn "in front of the flowerbed of the Tuileries, my street, rooftop, St Eustatius, the facades of Parisian cafés, and of course This old canal St Martin, onlookers crowded.

It's the same frenzy that I rise today in Phnom Penh.

I photograph our last memories with CIST students, even at home until Sunday,

with my program managers and meetings of passages

I put photography also markets their wealth, their colors. I'd send you the smells, sometimes unbearable,

unusual objects they can find,

I photograph the posters's masterpiece film that Eva and I have offered to see the students,

the street scenes, so much funnier than Paris, for sure,

I photograph what I also still having trouble to discover this city, as lorsqu'Estelle, a photographer friend, took me to invest in a colonial house derelict, squatted, waiting to become a hotel.

I photograph the food

my pleasure to eat,

I photograph what fun

... and annoys me kindly,

Talking Communication Boards For Stroke Victims

strange epidemic

Brent Everett & Corrigan Online

Louder than a stray bullet ... Why

Quand Martin m'a annoncé que je ne pouvais pas aller à Sisophon à cause des élections, I reviewed two nights ago, sitting on the edge of the bunk bed and Khlot Sao Koksen who had rolled in his blanket, and chatting with Mongrath Vichay and perched on the bed opposite and completely excited:

"yes Helou! So You Will Come to visit my house? Oh ... so happy, so happy. i will ask my mother to cook food for you, She is a very good cook. and my grand father Can Speak French. oh .. very very happy happy! "

Ah yes, I too was "very happy".

All students returned the next day in their province.Mot Order: School Holidays for most elections and for all. They returned only to return August 24 that while the 24, specifically, single stretch out my towel on the beach Pramousquier, amid a cloud of Baranga, a more solitary coconut tree in Alaska. My heart breaks for this recall.
Against Appeal Bantey Manchey, I could not. They went in and I had to say goodbye.
Overnight home found itself desperately empty and silent. Finished songs through walls from 6am in the morning, no more football games in a single shoe were generally trminent by "Eva! § Helou do You Have medicine for me?" Finish the fight to find his flip flops in the heap at the entrance of the house.

Yes, the house was falling into the world of silence, and I complained more Eva, who did not like me the loophole of escape to distant missions.
Is what they say goodbye to the living? No. That may be why I had the feeling of living the echo of a little death ...
While the prospect of making the trip home, meet the proud parents of these little wonders, it was a bit like me walk on water, or get out of the grave the third day.

and wham. now that I glue the danger of the century: the election, the Thai and Khmer slightly on edge, and safety regulations very impertinent.
on the line, when Martin told me: "I have bad news, you have to stay in Phnom Penh," I lost face, stifling a sob

"but Martin Srey Em even bought tickets for that I'm sitting beside her to the bus, and then I got an appointment with Vichay, Montgrath and Sokka, the center Thursday morning, you can not do this to me Martin, I do see them again perhaps more "

what is right with Martin, m is director in Cambodia is that the heartbreak of love for young people Banteschmare he understands. Took a leap almost paternal mad as if I had said "but wait, Maradona was a woman," he answered me immediately:
"OK OK, wait two minutes, I'll call them to Bangkok, and Paris, we will solve this. eh, OK? you wait two minutes, eh? I'll call you "

here. 2 minutes later, yes, I recovered my dignity, I had the blessing of Martin to find my thieves.

In fact, near as I sat Sothea. he was in 7th heaven. Not because I was sitting next to him, but because he had just received a letter from his sponsor, after mois et des mois d'attente et de lettres consensuelles à ses parrains.

the end of the road, the centenary of Sisophon. Martin lost paradise on the edge of the city ugly. Sothea first took me to meet his mother who sells bananas and some vegetables at the market. His son is an engineer, graduated from the best school in Cambodia. it risuqe change many things ...
the next morning at 8am, they are there.
Montgrath, large bleeding heart who had already torn tears making me read his letter to sponsors when he announced the death of his father and the departure of her best friend in Bangladesh,
Sokka, aka "Mister President,
Vichay and the" student-gentleman "who always carry my bag from the gate of the house up to m room when he sees me go mission foundered and all muddy.
they borrowed the motorcycle cousins, buddy, they are so proud to show me their field ...
together we make the tour owls:
greetings to Mom Srey em, who runs a snack bar at the entrance of the center, visit Montgrath garden, a haven of peace, clipped hedges, colorful butterflies and flowers fragrant, sokker can finally introduce myself a grandmother, living legend, 78 years, we bother cutting down a banana tree with an ax, Kim Sean, who washed his clothes safari hat while his mother take the air, and Vichay house.
an aunt's house ready to vichay mother, who sells fried bananas, a small slip of a woman, as tall as three apples, a bit shaky because it has a malformed leg, courageous woman, who has returned his son Thailand, where he worked one year as cuisto because he wanted to earn money to help his family. it did come back saying you have to finish your studies. she knew when she was upset the fate of vichay me breath in the hallway

"I'm so happy thats my DEAMs Become true. I Never Believed Until i could study grade 12, and now i study in Phnom Penh. i thought, if i can Until study grade 12 i am very lucky. Now i worry for my family, my sister is in. Because sincere Thailand 3 years, and I Miss Her. my mother works so hard for living. "

I'm the little negro, but it was so beautiful, so sincere, that joy mixed with sadness in this Vichay confided that if the Asian modesty did not forbid, I will close this guy in my arms for hours.

meanwhile Sokka and Montgrath invited to festoon mother Vichay ablutions were de rigueur, and wringing their hungry stomachs at the table prepared in our honor.

Vichay asked me to help him convince his mother and grandfather have lunch with us, and against the art of receiving of the Khmer of watching his dinner invitation. it was so touching to see them explain that in France invite eats with his guests and it made me happy.

Vichay's grandfather was a medic in Phnom Penh before war. so he speaks a little French. "A little" because in Cambodia, forget his mastery of French was a matter of survival for many. speak French was to be on the side of the colonists, capitalists, and therefore an anti nationalist, who in time of war and red Khemri aps is the best taste.
the end of the meal, the grandfather threw his krama in the face. nothing rude, he invited me to take a shower postprandial: return Khmer mores ...

I could knock out a thousand and one other little detail on this day wonderful. I'm saving. Fair, bringing me back to the center EDM, when we say goodbye, Vichay, Sokka Montgrath and I Vichay gave me his jacket. in memory.
I look like a penguin hunchback in, but frankly, it vichay, it has class. his gift, I keep it a memory that is priceless.

dad is right, "it's a bit from die" ... but still, there are beautiful dead sometimes.

Why Do I Take Such Long Showers

Momo, Cathy and EDM are afraid

You do not really notice it between elections in the U.S., the release of Ingrid and the upheavals of Afghanistan, but Cambodia is also energized.

Because here are the election in full swing. Trucks loaded with speakers grandpas-wave look-and-cigarette-to-beak and slicked teens waving flags petis crisscross the country, put up posters on all the houses amid music fete.

The other day in a village, while I was touring around for an opening goddaughter sponsorship and we talked quietly for the debts of the families, many chickens, number of acres and hectares owned by family incomes of members of households, followed by materials being paid, and "do you use soap or detergent for your toilet?" (There are no sub questions for social surveys), all eyes are suspended from a bike on a trail that passed in the horizon, and everyone exploded with laughter. The cyclist was wearing a T-shirt Sam Rainsy, a cap HUMAN RIGHT Party, and a small flag Cambodian Peoples Party.

Finally, it is a little civility to the Khmer, a friendly consensus, which does not wave. We vote as a neighbor, not to break the harmony of course, but also because the neighbor who is a member of the party, a machine to cut the wood he uses a lot for his work ... and his private affairs on the occasion.

It's not all. There are big big voltage between Cambodia and Thailand around the Preah Vihear issue just Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

(temple ... yes still)

Preah Vihear temple is a beautiful, located in a province far from everything, in northern Cambodia, one of those sites for which I shall soon be obliged one day return to Cambodia if I do not want to die stupid.

(red, province)

To be brief, and likely to make me pull your ears for the specialists for my dilettantism, Cambodia would benefit from the assistance of UNESCO to protect This temple located on the outskirts of the Thai border, which leads to a security perimeter around the site. Now that area proposed by the Cambodian authorities, bites on Thai territory. And Thais claim a division that does not create the security perimeter. All this amid internal political crisis in Thailand and national elections in Cambodia.

(which is great with this blog is that if you click on the pictures you can read the texts that you do not decipher as shown on the page ...) Add a touch

Ultra-minded nationalists, some soldiers soaked in alcohol that can get carried away and settle their accounts rather violently after losing at cards ... yeah, it can degenerate.

One in the next, although some contencieux arrangements for the elections. because fear of the citizen, there's nothing better for a massive vote. Look who made strong male figure, one who holds the army, and you have the winner of elections.

Like what, all things evil is good ...

is why it is the signal for battle to EDM. The staff organizes volunteers fetching bamboo without the knowledge of our full will. Eva's father comes to phone his daughter about whether she is alive. It's not so bad, it at least had the merit of us know ...
Yes, because we frankly, apart from the plugs to let parade of political parties, and two or three traffic officers a bit overwhelmed by the natural anarchy that takes riders, we did not notice much.

Anyway, Eva and I are puzzled. In Bangkok and Paris, is that they understand the geography of Cambodia.

Look at a map and you put two seconds into the shoes of a sensible voluntary Bamboo be in danger of ending up in a grilled merguez Barbec 'mountain troops, and summoned to leak more rapidly under the advice of his superiors: If

before returning to Bangkok, one must first be rappatriées in Sisophon, you speak protection!
one hand Sisophon is one of the most violent cities in Cambodia, and secondly, not to criticize, it's a bit right next to Thailand. Besides reach Bangkok by land, it means cross Poipet, a charming town that provided the cross plane, preferably overnight. While fetching the volunteers of nice bamboo, taxi, through the land border, such as "hello Khmer, the Thai's hello, be cute, stop pulling 2 minutes the time it passes through, Please", with Eva, you do not understand too. The idea of genius is to send us directly into the mouth of the wolf in case something goes wrong, it's not brilliant, brilliant.

In Phnom Penh, finally we are no worse. And then the plane, it sucks less than the road to Poipet.

short, the heckling we did just make a little more and we were forced to make our packages in 5 minutes to say goodbye by fleeing to Cambodia. Just consider this perspective, our little hearts were tight.

Why It Hurts When Get Fingered

It sends shivers down your spine ...

"Hello everyone, I hope you find

shaped in your respective missions. The first of the new generation bamboo, Bruno, arrived in Sisophon and has had a great experience in terms intercultural meeting!

Elections are up to date in Cambodia, caution is required. In keeping with Martin, I ask you not to go on a mission from July 24 to 30, not going out, brief to remain in your database during this period in order to prevent any problems that may arise.

Dear Parents

We show you, for all practical purposes, that following the tensions felt in recent weeks in Cambodia, and with the prospect of parliamentary elections next Sunday, we clearly decided, in conjunction with the Director EDM Cambodia Maindiaux Martin, gather Thursday, July 24th all of our volunteers' Bamboo Cambodia (Samrong missions, Battambang, Banteay Chmar, and Phnom Penh), in the center EDM Sisophon, adopting a first principle of precaution. Our Director Cambodia, based in Sisophon, and with which we are permanent link, is quite reassuring as to the current situation, but does not exclude, where appropriate, a fetching over central Bangkok EDM if were to deteriorate.

We will keep you informed and remain at your disposal to answer all your questions.

Receive, dear parents, our cordial and sincere greetings.

Japanese Haircut Irvine

and suddenly, comes the storm ... Typical

It's hot. "Too hot to work" (yes, I dare to be honest, I'm in the mood plaisantarde).

But brave on my little motorbike that EDM hums with pleasure under my conduct fluid, I brave the dust that makes me a grainy mask on the face, makes my hair gel in and crunched under my teeth, I ignored the sensation see my arm hairs to burn every red light under the sun, and I play the elbows to avoid being stuck behind trucks, instead of the loser if any.

When suddenly ... Suddenly the horizon darkens, a strong wind brought down the zinc sheets in a deafening roar and leap into the air a cavalcade of colorful bags Plastic Cash, dans un ballet de poussière brune.

Moi j'ai renoncé à me mettre à l'abri.

it's time to stop the small plastic bottle pickers Refrigerated this spectacular descent of temperature (grrr. ... 28 ° C, it is chilly ...).

20 minutes later the rain stops. But in the street, the tar was submerged, and the students come vandalize their uniforms playing the festival at the frog. Binders flow in the brown water, a boy made a demo at his little sister: "I look forward somersault in the gutter"

chaos and everything ends up happy bastonnade.

Blaise !...", comfortable to wash their feet in the mud like Mae Touit ...

I could make a theme on water . Finally there is that damn flash that I can not attraper.mais the rest is poetry so unusual ...
