It's almost school holidays. Students will return to their families, so it's an opportunity to write their letter to the sponsor.
At first it was just to correct grammatical errors that made their illegible letters to sponsors.
I owed them that much, since at dinner, I put on my cap spoilsport by asking the silence to demand that all students write their letters in English or French, depending on whether they learned or not and whatever their level. I 'had even taken a long form with a note written on the board Veled the ground floor to provide them with hours that I'd hang àà them. Briefly, I am the played, consultant correspondence.
The boys rolled their eyes devastated by coming to me saying "please, Helou, my French Is So Bad ... can i write in khmae?" Seila who had to overcome its backlog in languages and writing in English has come to show me the letter he had written his sponsors to prove to me that its sponsors could not read English. Hohsi came pastiche of the most helpless despair by writing on the board Veled the ground floor a very funny "Born Zer Zer Pa" in my little note to availability.
But oddly, the experience quickly became an intense and privileged moment, a moment, wishing open their sponsors wanted to attract their benevolence on their efforts, each student would open the doors a bit of his universe. And I'm rather proud of APS, however, a Khmer state that speaks little or no pain from his heart. I realized then that we really start to know us ... wow anyway, no less! ...
course, there are those with whom I used to talk.
Savy, the Dean of the team explained to me especially the art of water bombs and other traditional practices at the Khmer New Year are inevitably injured. Savy loves all the vocabulary words, to the least profitable.
ah Koksen, of course, the gentleman who is interested in you at the end of the world, you who look dreamily planisfère displayed in the house, you do not want him to lose his affection for his little godson the end of the world ...
and then there are those who are truly open. Those who did were probably need to talk, and for whom I represented, finally someone who they could say a little about their bessures intérieures.en Anyway, I like to think so ...
Montgrath came to show me his letter. He announced the death of his father, there are three or four months, but pain and anguish that this disappearance aroused for this great guy who feels guilty to study while her family went into debt to pay for funeral and had to sell part of its rice. Montgrath PHASYS also spoke, a freshman, the super friend of everybody who comes from the same village as him, who just left Bangladesh to continue thanks to a generous grant university studies in agronomy in be set down a driver issues a diploma recognized by the best American universities. PHASYS Montgrath loss because he confided his troubles. But the prettiest is that Mongrath ends his letter on the anguish that his sponsors are confident their motivation to learn:
"but i want to tell you: even if i am sad and if it Is Difficult for me Because i was too sad to study, now I'm happy to study, and i will work hard for my exams.
he came to show me their grammar dilemmas and me I held my tears as a drama before using heavy twine to mourn the household under 50 years ... except that there was true. I knew he was in mourning. For several days Mongrath had pinned a square of black cloth on his shoulder. But past few weeks he had become a student without a problem, a student who laughed and made jokes to the other, a student which we do not suspect that it is sad. Nothing showed that he believed so strongly in his père.Comme it sometimes gets tricked by appearances ...
Finally, last night was Chanroeum who came to see me. Chanroeun is the one who laughs the loudest, the one who disobeys, who pilfering of single berth sponge to put its affairs in toilets, and who denounces laughing when Eva and I are organizing a meeting solemn reminder to all materials pilfered reappear in its original place ... Well
But
Chamroeun dream to complete his studies at Lyon III, and his family chose his dreams to his death.
What I admire these young men who bear the burden if their misery and yet remain proud and straight. Because it is difficult to think of oneself s'obiger, focus on the intricacies of French grammar and history of Cambodia, when we are so occupied by those who are far away and we never see again.
